On Diwali day Mahavir Bhagwan achieved complete freedom. If we want to be his true followers then we should follow his footsteps.
On this auspicious Diwali day I wish everyone the path to freedom.

I was thrilled to see the teachings of pujya guru dev on the net. My family have long been followers of gureudev's teachings, starting from my grandfather chimanlal shah and then my uncle shantilal c shah and my father madhukar c shah.
It has always been a handycap for me that i had not learned to read and write gujurati.I am sure this site will help my children and also others to understand the true philosoply of jainism.

Great site! Too bad there aren't more like it. I am taking a religions of India course at Loyola Marymount University. One of our assignments is to research a religion or philosophy that we connect to. I really admire the Jaina traditions and the commitment to ahimsa. I wish that others could take more Jaina philosophies to heart; war, abuse, envrionmental degradation, ect. would be a thing of the past! Have a great day!

I did a project on Jainism. Although this page was very informative it was hard to understand, especially to an outsider. Thank you for sharing your religion and beliefs with me.

I follow Buddhism and find your material useful! Jainism apparently was contemporary with the historical Buddha (reference to Mahavir in Buddhist text - comments by the Buddha on him as if he knew personally and held him esteem)-interesting. I am vegetarian it is a better way of life!
